Desperate for help - Rear Quarter Panel Drivers 325i SPORT

Hi,

I'm having some issues locating a drivers side rear quarter panel for my 325I SPORT restoration

I've been a little unlucky - i ordered all my panels , inner and outer arches , front wings , bonnet , valance , rear panel etc...from Coopers who have been excellent - they did not have a delivery date on the drivers quarter panel - bm mini parts had some good reviews on the forum and the website told me 14 days delivery - that was in November - they have taken my £268.90 back on the 18th of November and still no sign of the panel.

On querying the terms and conditions the reply i got is as follows:

All other dealers will be in the same boat and it does say a minimum of 14 days and with older parts it does seem to take longer. I will get back to you on Monday with more information.

So my mistake - anyway Coopers have told me potentially May for the panel (but they were not convincing) - my issue is the car is now stripped and the restorer can only wait so long before my project gets shelved until the panel is available.

Can anyone help ? Advise of a lone rear drivers quarter panel gathering dust somehwere ?? All advice appreciated.

Thanks , i have emailed them to see if in fact they can get this within the 4 days - i hope so as i went to the restorers today and they have gone as far as the can - if i can't get the part i will have to remove the car to allow for their next project space

Any chance to repair that quarter? Doesn't look that bad...Cut/weld.

im pretty sure when you buy a arch repair panel you actually get enough panel to repair the rust i can see on your car...i would look into it if you cant get a quarter panel in time...
arch repair panels are available from most body panel suppliers.... even euro car parts.

Thanks for the advice - with so many panels replaced it seems a shame to repair rather than replace - but it may be the only solution other than waiting for 4/5 months for the panel - thanks again.
