i have a feeling that the one that he is offering to shoe you tomorrow is the very same one that he is selling in the trader

i think he is just adding a little bit of advanced pressure so that when you go to view tomorrow you will feel the need to commit there and then so you don't miss out when someone "buys winkeye " it tomorrow

just a thought

There are a lot of small time car dealers in wycombe center, along with lots of other kind of dealers!

If its in the center of wycombe or desbrough area i would steer clear, most people in those areas seem to be dodgey! First thing id check is if its been stolen!

There are very nice areas on the outskirts of wycombe, the town center is a dive, full of council types and chavs. Definately go have a look but go over the car and the documentation with a microscope!

There are 3 or 4 traders in the high wycombe/amersham/ chesham area that deal in quite a few sports , most of the cars are sad councilled dogs that have been nicked (bought cheap!) from up north, i wouldn't hold your breath waing for a good one from these boys !.

this is the reason they turn in scrap. owned by losers who hammer them into the ground then go all deluded come sale time expecting there rusted, counciled Ԛ£650 parts doner to be worth Ԛ£2.8k

so much wrongness about.

you just know this car will be described as mint, but will be far from it. as the end of the day you cant sell scrap for more than scrap money. it really is heartbreaking when you spend about 2-3 hours on a train to find out that a car hasent be described properly. ie youve been lied too.

as for the sport in question. its doesnt sound or look right.

i suppose i will just have to go and have a look wont i! if its scrap ill get it for next to nothing as i am quite good at knocking people down to nearly f all! my last nova gsi was advertised at Ԛ£1095ono as it has a funny noise! so i told the bloke big ends were shaged and brought it 4 Ԛ£50 and he through in a set of alloys,on top of the cd player 6 or 7 cds and a full tank of fuel!
lol so if its shit ill see what i can do in price and we shall strip it for bits! so keep your ears to the ground!

None taken mate, sounds like whoever told you that knew his stuff! The only decent place is TCS automotive, the guy who owns it really knows his stuff.

There are some decent e30's here but not many, and certainly none in the town center!

I would never buy a car from High Wycombe, or Birmingham, or Inner London. Good rules of thumb.

I've looked at too many and heard too many stories of polished turds.

Maybe Slough too and maybe Reading!

but would it stop me going back there to have a look at a car Fook NO!!

i think some people are a bit above themselves at times

I ain't going above my station i could bore u for hours at Ace Mason of my experience of looking for cars in these areas, also friends in these areas.

I know i'm not alone in being assuming either.

Have i ever claimed Bracknell was a good place? Or Camberley with one of the roughest council estates in the country up there with totland, toxteth and moss side?

Don't leave your humour at home

Choice of two here, one car in Streatham, south London or St. Georges Hill (Cliff Richard etc live there). Forget where u live aswell. Both large up their cars on the phone.

Which one are u going to look at first?

Awaits silly answers. Obviously u could well look at both

Im not disagreeing with your assumption of cars in these area's at all. Im just saying you cant assume all cars in these areas are shitters

We live in the next village along from Gerrards cross which is less than a mile away from Wycombe town center but it is officially the most expensive place to live in the uk. If someone who lived there advertised a car for sale they would advertise it as being located in Wycombe. By your logic, it would be a polished turd.

Not trying to get into an argument, just stating facts

I would thought that was obvious that not every car these area's was not a turd

No?

Your previous post gave me the impression you thought otherwise but like you say, its obvious so really not worth arguing over.

Like i said, im not defending the dodgey fuckers that sell cars in these areas, i would be very wary. Especially of the guy selling the sport in the original question, he sounds like the typical chav wheeler dealer.

Have you gone to see it yet mate? Let us know what its like if you have.
