Ive had to change my plans of buying Gaz coilovers after loosing my job. Im current running Bilstein B8s with Eibach springs. I thought i'd build my own coilovers using the coilover sleeves from Rally Design.

Im going to use my B8 but cant decided what spring rate and height to go for.

Anyone done this on an e30?

:stupid:

To qualify that a bit, the 3 series is not equipped with particularly strong turrets, I have seen quite a few bulged and have even had it myself after clipping something in the road.

Problem is lesser on the e36 and worse on the e46.

The E36 m3 had load spreaders and quite a few places offer weld on reinforcements.

A lot of coil overs have tiny adjustable top mounts with solid joints, a recipe for cracked turrets.
