I have a cage in my touring from a coupe (OK 2 door), I believe but please check they all fit, pm me if you need pictures. It's an SD bolt in cage. (the fact the rear seat does not have a fire wall makes the install easier).

Depending on where the rear brace bolts to, a 2 or 4 door saloon (no such thing as an E30 coupe!) cage should fit a touring. Obviously if it bolts to the rear parcel shelf, you will need modifications.

Rear arch strengthening plates I installed.

Centre hoop behind the B post, also strengthened the floors as well.

Front mounting points again strengthened the area and it all fits well.

If want a custom one and you're anywhere near St Ives in Cambridgeshire, I can recommend Rollcentre Racing. Don't expect fantastic customer communication or cheap rates, but I can testify after a decent side on impact their work is top notch!

I have re-shelled from a 2 door to a touring and used the same cage. All the same mounting points. SD 6 point bolt in perfect fit, and then I used an e36 front strut brace to make the rear turret brace.
