Help I really need some advice from people in the know!
We have a silver 320i coupe which we are looking to rehome but have no idea what it's worth and whether it's worthwhile getting things done first.
These are the issues -
No mot
Needs new headlights exhaust etc for mot.
Bodywork - has some rust to wheel arches and skirt and few other areas. Few small holes too. Been keyed down one whole side.
Water leak into boot from hole.
Engine is good we think, only done 76k, 4yrs ago was only on 17k! Had a lot of work done over past couple years including timing belt. Has full set of original bbs alloys.
Tyres all good
What do these sell for if in excellent condition?
What is it worth currently?
How much would it cost to solve all the issues? Is it worth doing?
Sorry for all the questions I'm clueless. It was mint when we got it but my other half has not looked after it!
Advice needed please for 1986 320i coupe

To be honest, it sounds like it's time for the weigh bridge

You'd be best to break it and sell the parts, the wheels if in good condition will fetch £150, what is the interior like?

If only you'd kept it at 17k (and had the paperwork to prove it), then it might have some value, but in the state you describe, I'm afraid it's worth little more than scrap value.
76k is still extremely low for its age, but it can no longer be considered 'low mileage'. It would still be a plus on the selling points, but it's still the only 'plus' I can see.
Probably worth more in parts, especially if things like seats and bumpers are in good condition.

Interior needs a valet but no damage I don't think. It's blue cloth

The vultures are circling! The OP mistakenly describes it as a coupe, so presumably it's a two door saloon.
