Hi guys newbie here,got the chance to buy a325ia convertible with 147k on the clock , seems fairly sound Ԛ£1500. Would like your opinions what i should look for as far as faults & problems. Im not new to bmws had a few but this is the first e30. currently run a e39.

look in the boot mate for signs of water as this can be a real pain to get rid and causes car cancer - RUST.....

1500 could be a bargain...

check for rust, arches, inner arches, sills, battery tray and bulkhead

check for mayo in the oil

electric hood? does it work?
Got cable ties? Get diffin..

Arch roller for hire.

No water in boot. manual hood, fogot to say its a 1998 on an f plate.

manual hood is a massive relief then!

Be checking the engine and bodywork for rust, although i have not seen or heard of many rusty cabs before
