theres blue, pink and green what is recommended for an E30 and what is the difference between the colours.

Green iirc - I'm sure the BMW antifreeze I used was green. It's not just antifreeze, it's also a corrosion inhibitor.

I use Comma G48 thats the green one that jmc330i mentoned.
But really up to you i suppose pink or blue is ok for general use but do not mix them.

Red is more modern stuff, green or blue is the stuff. I too use the comma blue (bottle label is green)

Is it fine to mix 2 different BLUE brands of antifreeze when topping up the levels?
Shouldn't pose an issue as long as they're both blue right?
