If I take a heckspoiler and standard facelift front bumper to a spray shop and do the preparation myself roughly how much would it cost to spray them?
The colour is Schwartz black metallic.
Would I be right in thinking somewhere around 150-200
approximate cost to spray heckspoiler and front bumper

Is it schwarz, or is it metallic black (diamondschwarz)? These are two different colours, and two different painting techniques too, since metallic needs a clearcoat on top.

Grrrrrr
It will still be (well it should be) water based base coat and lacquer regardless if it is metalic or a solid colour. so painting and prep will be the same. The only variables in this case will be the cost of materials.
If the painter uses a 2 pack paint (which is very rare) it will be again cheaper.
2 pack paint is solvent based and it is crap compared to water based and Id never allow anything of mine to be painted with it.
Matt, your estimates are in the ball park but it may be nearer £200

I haven't bought any paint for 7 or 8 years now, when I was buying the then new water based products weren't favoured by my painters and the clear coats had to be 2k solvent based anyway.
Obviously that's all changed now but what ever you choose you will get what you pay for. Regarding solvent based 2k, I used to buy Glasurit solvent based 2k paints to use on composites and they were great and the finish and durability was excellent.
