My speakers don't work on my 316 , 1990, does any body know what size footwell speakers I need?

If you mean "don't work" as in don't make any sound at all, are you sure the existing speakers are actually connected? Cones and supports can break up, coils can distort and rub on the magnets, but it's unusual for them to go open circuit.

good and cheap replacement is bmw e38 or e39 oem speakers from car without DSP,they fit perfect and sounds much better,forgot now how many wats they had,i think e30 oem have 15w and e38/39 have 25w and rubber not papper speakers....I had them in few my e30 and was fine if you not looking for some Hi-end sound system.
