Apart from being a Monday... which is a bad point, just received my car back from having a service. And what a difference!!! :D it runs so much better soo smooth now.. no idle problems at all no lumpy ness from cold. IÔš'm well chuffed.. its surprising what a service can do... :D it makes a change to find a garage that tells you the truth and doesnÔš't try and just get money out of you... any one in the Stourbridge area who needs a good garage I can point you in the right direction..

Just for interest what Oil does every one use?
And any reconditions for Tires? The rears are getting a bit low. My brother (A ride and handling Engineer) recommends MichelinÔš's but the garage (A Porsche Specialist) swears by Conti's. Any Option?

For your oil Q try this thread...

For the tyres, try here and type in tyres, there's been loads of good informative threads.

Personally, I've never tried either contis or michelin. 8)

Goddyear F1's not too expensive, very good in the wet and dry and excellent wear rate, my rears have done about 13,000 so far. Very impressed.

But michelin pilot sports are also impressive, if a touch more money

Both are directional.

Yeah going through the posts it seems the no one has a bad word to say about the F1's.
I was reading through the other posts to try and find out about the Kumho 712's has anyone had any experience with them?

IÔš'm looking on black circles web site but cant fond a listing for F1's in 205/55/15 even though the good year site says its available.
Any one know any other online retailer thatÔš's cheap?
