Hello Zoners .

I was Wondering ,
Are All E30's Have The Same Dimensions For Chassis And Struts .

Dunno , IF Any Of You Have An Original Strut Brace it Will Be Great to See the measurements ....

Today , I Went down stairs and Removed my Old Strut Brace and i Installed a New TA Technix One , Aluminum . It Couldn't Take More than 111 cm in distance .

When I did Measure the Distance between the Outer Strut Bolts
The Distance Is 110cm ,

On the Diagram for Chassis Dimensions , the distance is
caroliner Fenwick : 111 cm
celette : 111.2 cm
Nicator Systems : 110 cm
Blackhawk : 111.2 cm

So I Still Don't Bloody Know Where am I now .

I Measured The Distance and it's 110 as i said before .
Is It Ok Or are the Struts Leaned To The Inner Side .

My Car is Originally A 318i
Now it Sets on a 327i

Is It Leaned Inner ways ?

PS : No Cracks In Body Work or Arches or Struts , The Car is Still Sharp and nice , Did 200 km/h In it , and it's Stable .

It's very common to see the struts move inwards over the years

I don't have the dimensions to hand to check exactly what it should be

All E30's share the same strut tower dimensions and mounting points with the exception of the 325iX.

As a note, cabrios have reinforcement plates between the strut tower and the inner wing.
