Flip out/ Fold out Headunits - Pics?

I'm considering a flipout/fold out headunit for the e30 but was wondering if anyone has any pics of it when it's not flipped out as i have concerns its going to stick out?!

Otherwise, might have to consider going for a complete single din!

Thats right mate, you need a LHD facia panel or it will hut the indicator stalk

Yeah I heard you can shorten the indicator stalk

I added some pics to your talkaudio thread.... you will want a lhd centre panel!!!
The pic makes it look a bit better than it is - the edges aren't quite flush, as it's a slightly different shape, obviously.
It would be fairly easy to trim with a dremel or something - but I didn't bother!!!

As mentioned, I'm gonna change mine back to a standard single din unit soon!!!

Yep - it's not pretty!!!

Was great when I used to spend 4+ hours at a time in the car, but I don't use the screen anymore and the cd/dvd drive has given up - so bluetooth & dab is coming my way!!!
