Clearly not for 15" E30 BBS, part number is 36.13-1 179 828, date code suggests manufactured in 1988. Would it be E32 or E34 and is it worth owt?

Yes, an E32 E34 BBS 15" crosspoke cap. They are not hugely dear new and not particularly sought after.

I would be availing of a free ebay classified ad with the BMW part number listed in the top line and description and pricing it a Ca £7.50.

Cheers Pete, thought I recognised it, one of the cars that I used to wash as a teenager was a brand new 535 sport and I hated cleaning those wheels.

Be sure to double check the part number as some of the metric BBS wheels , as used on 535 Sports, used a plastic cap, some a metal cap. Alas the plastic one is metric rim specific and will not fit the standard E34 15" BBS wheel :(
