Mates , Hello .

See , yesterday i removed the Whole bumper and The Front End valance and So I will Remove some body parts to replace ,

Any ways , that ain't my problem .

See , I have the OEM AC Fan which is in Front , and Now i can Reach it Easily with all the Parts removed .

The Fan Has Two Speeds .
Well The Slow Speed only Runs When The Coolant Temp Reaches 90 degrees .
And The Fast Speed Runs When i press The AC Button In The Cockpit .

Now , I know my Fan Resistor Died , Because it Only Runs When I Press The AC Switch . (Tested all Cables and Relay and Sensor , all Working ) .

Removed the Fan , tested it With a Jumper cable , only the Fast Speed Runs ( Resistor Dead ) .

Anyways .
I was Think about Connecting The Fan , With One Speed ( Bypass The Resistor) . So It'll Run on High Speed when the Car Reaches 90 , and Also It'll run Fast speed when the AC is On .

Both AC and Coolant Sensors have Relays , So there Won't Be any Electrical Interference while Car is 90 degrees and AC is On .
Also While AC is On (It Never Reaches 90) .

PS : The Car has an Electrical Fan Swap , which Can Be Turned On with a Switch , and Also With a Coolant Sensor @ 71 Degrees .
So Temp under 90 Ain't A Problem .

So Should I Bypass the Low Speed and Only Use the High Speed ?
Or Just Replace the Resistor and Use Two Speeds ?

Using the high speed when the low speed will do is costing you both power and fuel, so I'd replace the resistor. Doesn't have to have a BMW logo on it - an appropriate one from RS Components, etc., will do.
Why do you run the engine so excessively cold? The usual idea is to run an engine as hot as possible without encountering local boiling in the hot spots in the cylinder head.

I Don't Run It Cold ,
The Temp Gauge Is Always in the Middle , As An Optimal Temp for an M20 Engine .
But the Fan I Am Using Instead of the Clutch one , Is Running on 71 degrees .
Which Keeps My Engine Coolant at its Optimal .

Also When i turn Off the Car i keep it running till the Temp Reaches less than 71 then it turns off automatically.

That's Why I Asked if Should i replace the resistor or Bypass it .
The Fan Swap has a Low Speed which i am Using .
So Keeps the Engine Optimal even in traffic .

You Know it was Summer here in Jordan Same for everybody in the world .
And In Summer the Temps here raises up to 36 - 38 on some days (Dry Weather )
No Humidity Effects the Radiator Cooling .

Sorry, I interpreted your post as saying you were running a 71 degree water thermostat. I see what you mean now.

The low speed should come on with the A/C, not the high speed. Also when to coolant temp reaches 91 deg.

The high speed should come on when coolant temp reaches 99 deg.

Here in Jordan , it's Pretty Much Hard for German Cars To Give you Cool Air Out of the Vents ,
So We Just Bypass The Compressor Sensor for the heat Sensor , and The Compressor keeps running as long as the Button is Switched On .

Every Couple of Year , we Replace the Compressor . But as long as it's Cool And Running it's Fine , Some Days In Summer here are Damn Hot .

I am Running 71 Degrees Thermostat .
Mate The Weather is Different here .
Also On Summer i Run 65 Degrees Thermostat.

on Winter i Run 90 Degrees one .
I Left my 90 Degree Thermostat last summer , and the Car was boiling water . Or Maybe Because my Last m20b20 needed a Head Gasket i dunno ,
Now On My 2.7 Stroker . It's Optimal Is Good , and Always Optimal , On 71 Degrees Thermostat .

Dunno , Haven't Tried The 90 Degrees one Yet .
But Winder is at the Doors and I'll Give it a Shot This Winter .

My only Concert Now , is New Arches And A New Valance . DAMN
