Hi All
I bought my '83 323i last febuary and just love it, Its bog standard but in good condition and I get loads of people coming up and asking me about it...
Thing is they all say "wow a Henna Red 323!!" -Is there any reason why people who have never owned an E30 (but wanted to in 1983) would know the exact shade of my car? I mean was it a rare or desirable colour?
Maybe some of the more 'senior' members can answer this as I was only four in 1983 and dont remember too well!!
Cheers
Henna Red???

I saw a 6 series in it though -looked awful.

I was once told that Henna was dropped due to bad fadding problems when the cars started getting popular in the States . I understand that a Henna m3 in the States is now a rare and collectable thing and pushes the price up ! . It was superseded by Zinnobar .
