With the copious amounts of wet weather recently I'm looking to get a soft-top waterproofer spray/kit for the cabby to protect the roof over the winter months.

I'm looking for something which will provide maximum waterproofing protection and the most amount of beading, so the water runs straight off without setting in.

The two I know of are:
1) Autoglym soft-top cleaning kit
2) Renovo

Is the Autoglym kit good enough for the waterproofing side of things and for creating beading of the roof?

I already have a Meguiars hood cleaner which I will use in due course before waterproofing, so the cleaning side of things is not so much of an issue.

Thanks!

Fabsil is good for this and easy to apply.

Upon reading previous posts when I did a search on this topic, I read that Fabsil was a tent waterproofer and that the use of it could lead to white streak marks, as another zoner realised after using it.

Did you have any of the above mentioned problems when using it?

I'm after something pretty heavy duty; for some serious beading action!

No problems when I use it. It gives great beading for a month or two.
