Happy new year everyone. Need some help
Just bought a front and rear Mtech 2 bumper and lower valance from e-bay from a 2 door sport. Will these fit onto my tourer?
if so then I'm going to collect on Tuesday and get the car into the body shop the same week. I will post before and after piccies once I have the car done!

Hi mate
Yes, they will fit no problems, it's only the pods/skirts that are different.

there is a small amount of drilling to be done, i am writing a tech article as this subject comes up quite often.
make sure the lower valance has the two studs on each side, they will go through the hole you must drill in the wheel arch.
you will need to buy the clips to hold the top valance on and the expandable rivets for the bottom. also make sure it has four brackets on the bottom as they cannot be replaced.
the Brake air ducts are also different, try to get those too.
you can see the stud (top left) and one of the brackets (black one below fog light hole) i am talking about below:

You can't get those brackets on their own. They only come supplied as part of the lower valance.A1BMW325iSport wrote:nice one mate thats the brackets i've been on about recently, can't find a part number anywhere

i would imagine the brackets are not critical, i was offered a tech2 valance without those brackets it would be a great bargining chip to knock squids off the seller,
but for fitting i dont see a problem, there are two lower fittings on the actual valance itself (in the centre) and those brackets could easily be fabricated.
As for the side fittings/clips again not overly critical and if they are broken a nut could be glued in their place with arydyte, i personally will not bother with them as the valance fits super snug anyway!
