When you haven't used your motor for a while, you fit the battery, turn it over, warm it up.
Then you get you stuff together and get comfortable.
Go to back out the drive but ! Feck clutch has no resistance. Feck feck feck.

Floor is dry and reservoir is empty. Either a split pipe or mashed slave aahhh.

Will Jack it up suday and get on it. I actually don't have much car time between now and pod....

And need to mot it too. Feck feck feck feck fecking feck.

Rant over. Vented, done ....

May need a 25 slave from some one shrpish though.

My Minor's hydraulic clutch has a small leak at the slave cylinder union, despite tightening it.

I've had to pump the pedal several times sometimes to get the clutch to work, and it's made gearchanges somewhat awkward.

Been like that for a few weeks now - must get around to sorting it...

Shitty feeling

It's better than having the clutch pedal going to the floor in the middle of Austria after closing tone on a Friday though :-)

Perfectly possible to drive a car with a non working clutch pedal. Mine decided to quit on the day my wife went into labour with our second brat, leaving me to cross a local town at 5 pm to get home to take her in.

Indeed it is, the clutch pedal snapped on the wifes Audi at 9am one morning, right at the front of a set of traffic lights :x Still took care of my errands. Only difficult moment was pulling out of a side road on to a main road, with my right side blind due to a bend, that I didn't enjoy!
