Indeed.
The proof is that 2dr/2dr/touring tech 2 side skirts are the same part number and 2dr/cabrio tech 2 door pods are the same.
Also bumpers are the same regardless of body shape as are exhausts.

Maybe the Wiki stats were comparing chrome bumpers with facelift plastic ones by mistake?

That's crazy you would have thought a touring is bigger,

I can't remember where I sourced the wiki dimensions from, but it was definitely a BMW source. However, it might have been for the US market with their ridiculous diving-board bumpers.
If someone's got a good alternative souce, hook me up.

There's loads of data at the back of this. I keep one in easy reach of where I'm sitting now, and a significant proportion of what I post comes straight from it.daimlerman wrote:Owner's handbook!Grrrmachine wrote:

I know the handbook is available on line somewhere, so any chance of including i,t or a link to it in the wiki, preferably directly from the front page.
When you're underneath it on a ramp, the only way you can tell a touring from a saloon, is by the M3 front control arms, if it happens to be a 325 touring, or you know it's a saloon if it has rear drum brakes.

How has the touring got different control arms from the rest?

Just the 325i touring that left the factory with alloy control arms.I would be very suprised if any are still fitted!
