Hello peeps!
My Balljoint is cracked so it needs replacing. but was thinking while it is having that done i should lower my convertible.
i am currently running on disgusting 17s and will be looking into replacing them with 17" fake bbs style rims.
was wondering what would be the optimal drop?
i am thinking -60 is too low.
as far as i can read its standard procedure to sit on H&R springs and Bilstien Shocks (B8s?) and were best to buy them.
Thanks peeps

i am thinking -60 is too low.
is to low in my opinion, iv had cars on 15s bbs -60 and -90 springs and they are both a major pain!! broken exhausts and sumps
-40 is probably IMO the best and H&R are great for springs

I would not go lower then 35/40mm. Eibach springs are good with Biltein b4, Boge or sachs. Bilstein B8s are too stiff for a convertible and 17" wheels are too big. A softer setup is preferred on a convertible.
