Hello All. back again with a rather rusty issue. I recently removed to carpet from the boot of my 1990 e30 318 only to find I could see through the inner arches right through to the road underneath. I hear this is a common problem but am not sure how to go about fixing it. The floor and strut housing area of the car only has minor surface rust so a quick rub down and paint will fix that. No photos unfortunately, will try to add some later.

Your looking at cutting out and replacing with new inner arches (BMW Only) and then outer arches (imperial panels) being put in. Not a cheap job, but if you either give Boyd at Bavarian Retro a call or pop in as your pretty local he can give you a price as its not the first time he has done this repair.
