hi, parts of my 92 325ic paint are looking a little bleached / milky in places. most of the car has even paint wear but the bonnet is starting to look a tad paler than the rest. is there a good restorative paint that other people have tried. a good hand rag polish and cut only seems to last about a month before its going a bit dull again. i didnt want to machine away too much paint as its got a good depth still. the paint does seem much thicker than my metallic paint 320!se though.

A machine polish is the way to go to revive the paint. The Menzerna products are ideal for this and they have differing grades of cut compound should you be wary.

Once the paint has been corrected waxed and seraled it shouldn't fade again for a while.

im going to try this then, too scared to tackle a machine polish myself without any experience. if it wasnt factory paint id have a go but i dont want to risk a dent / scratch freebonnet to have a go antics!

A good valeter can do it for you, not exactly cheap but if your scared of having a go yourself you are better paying someone else.
