Just finished installing rear electric window motor, one of them was wound right up the top and is stuck there, when I put power on it I just get sparks regardless of which way I connect. Anyone know how to free it up?

Took the plate of the back of the motor, poped the wire spool out and wound it so the guide is further away from the top. However, it still doesn't work, connection the battery to the motor just sparks as if it were seized.

Anyone know if I can swap a front motor on to the rear if I swap the toothed gears for the winder parts? The look very similar other than these small differences.
