Has anyone brought from this place? Any feedback?

Just looking at drive belts and these guys are really cheap, but the part says 'made in West Germany' surely BMW would of changed this to Germany when manufacturing service parts after the fall of the Berlin wall!

Get a Continental or Gates belt off ECP . Ca a tenner IIRC. ECP for the tensioner and water pump while you are at it.

Its cheaper to buy the timing belt and tensioner separately from ECP. It really is a waste of money going to the dealers to buy these parts when they are the exactly the same from ECP.

Is that actually the case? I hear people say this, but isnt it hit and miss.. ECP brands like EIS are actually a pile of shit, and wouldnt take them for free.
My cars always had genuine parts it's whole life, so feel bad that soon as it comes into my ownership I stick cheap copies in it.

If you buy a timing belt from BMW it will be made by Continental. If you buy it from ECP it will be made by Continental. ECP do you stock OEM parts as well as cheaper brands.

I was tempted earlier looking at the website, seeing as the pulley from BMW is £55 compared to ECP's £20

Only two types of timing belt fitted to a M20, and that's a 128 tooth one on ancient ones and a 127 tooth one on the newer stuff. Different tooth profile as well.
