i have now bought two of these 1 is manifold only the other a full manifold & dowwnpipe japspeed number but both to sit in the way of the steering linkage when i try to fit the rack. am i missing something or have i actually bought a manifold to another model as it bolts up perfectly to the block but as i say the steering rack spline is sitting centrally to 1 of the pipes on both manifolds & im gutted? any help/info greatly appreciatted e30 4 life!!!

Probably for a left hand drive car.

Yup. Not to mention the USA 318i was M42 powered as they didn't get the M40 engine. There are many more LHD M42 powered cars compared to our RHD.

Any pics of the manifolds?
