318is stainless manifold???

i have now bought two of these 1 is manifold only the other a full manifold & dowwnpipe japspeed number but both to sit in the way of the steering linkage when i try to fit the rack. am i missing something or have i actually bought a manifold to another model as it bolts up perfectly to the block but as i say the steering rack spline is sitting centrally to 1 of the pipes on both manifolds & im gutted? any help/info greatly appreciatted e30 4 life!!!

Yup. Not to mention the USA 318i was M42 powered as they didn't get the M40 engine. There are many more LHD M42 powered cars compared to our RHD.samuraibaz wrote:Lhd 318is???
