Trying to de-chav the car and unfortunately I have yet to change the white tachometer/econometer.

It amazes me that people spend a fortune ruining their cars and OEM types have to correct it.
Anyway, the instruments are now 75% less chavy, until I get a new rev counter

The white dials are heading to the bin

*Prepares for a lot of scathing looks* Some of the chrome surrounds are actually the one "chavvy" mod i actually like, gives them the look of the newer M dials.

Nope those instruments are not interchangeable. VDO vs motometer hence Rev counter face still needed

You should have swapped in a complete cluster. I guarantee you the nasty council one would sell for a lot more than the cost of the stock one !

So true, but I did not have one, and I bought the old cluster for 99p.
Now I am stuck with this Frankenstein contraption
