I've long since given up hope of ever getting my electric hood to work, so i'm making do with manual operation at the moment, which is all good and fine except locking the horseshoe cover down when the hood is folded away. Has anyone come up with an ingenious way of locking this in place?

Back behind an M20, but now I can hear it better.

Does the horseshoe motor work?
I rigged mine up to an old electric window switch using a set of relays and earthing it through the microswitch above the windscreen and the courtesy light switch on the passengers door so little fingers couldn't work it when the roof was up or the car was moving.
