Picking up a car later this week that I intend to
knock straight out, on that basis I can get short term
insurance ( 14 days) for £ 170 odd, or I can go
the fully comp for a year at £670.
Anyone know what kind of amount I'd lose if I go the
fully comp route and cancel the policy within 2 weeks?
Or has anyone got any better suggestions, re insurance I
hasten to add?
Insurance quandry.

I've used TempCover before, they provide cover from just 24Hrs upto 30 days cover.

I did the same when I bough tnt missus last car, it wanted a few bits doing so insured it fully comp with direct line used it for 2 weeks to make sure I had sorted the problems then cancelled the policy with in the 14day cooling off period. Job done, jot a full refund, had a month Sat on the drive while we sold her old car.
