Hi all. Been lurking in the background for a little while now and thought it about time to say hello!
I've just sold my 96 328 touring to return to the joys of the e30 touring (had a e30 318 touring before the e36 but it died...) . I now own a 1989 mtec 2 kitted alpine white 325i touring and am generally well happy but there are a few bits and pieces i need to sort out. This will be a bit new to me really as always got other people to do it in the past but keen to do as much as possible myself on this one so please bare with me if i ask stupid questions!!
You're obviously a knowledgeable bunch so look forward to spending time on here!!
Cheers

Thanks guys!!
It is indeed the one in the link. Can't wait to get all the little niggly bits sorted. Its so much fun to drive compared to the e36 and i've certainly got plenty of fun roads around here to play on (i'm sure you'd agree eko?)!!
By the way, registered as 328 touring before i bought the e30. Is it possible to change my user name or just register again under a different one? Had a look but couldn't find anything.
CHeers!

If you had loads of posts I'd say PM one of the admin to sort it out for you, but I think it would be quicker and easier to re-register!328touring wrote:

Just keep 328touring... makes no real difference what you're called!
Unless you wanna use your real name like some of the hardcore bunch... just look at 'Simon' - I wonder what his real name is...?
BTW - Nice Touring... looks lowered. Sits well.

Thanks all for the welcome! As geeman said, might as well keep 328touring as i'm here!
Not sure what has been done to the suspension, definitely not factory though unless its completely shot!! Hopefully have a chance to check it this weekend.
Gonna have a dig through old posts about touring suspension as want to raise the back end up as it sits too low for my liking. What would be the closest to factory sport spec i could get aftermarket? The whole lot could do with a refresh!
Seeing the other tourings on here is definitely motivation to pull my finger out and get it up to scratch asap! Want to go 2.7 at some point if i can too.
