Has anyone got any experience with these?

Seems almost too good to be true. But I'm hoping that its just higher up the selling food chain with less middle men taking a cut.

Or shall I be the guinea pig, oink :D

Good enough for my M3 55L version obviously and no crappy drain plug to worry about.
They fit bang on and are less than half what the dealer wants for one.

£222, even with some discount it will be more i reckon.

I'll get the cheap one of the bay as I have a 10% voucher to use too. New tank £140 delivered, I'll report back.

HI Mate,

Just a quick note to look out for when going ahead with this:

I got one from GSF for my iS last year and what I have noticed is that when I am running low on fuel lets say just before the red/orange light comes on the fuel dial and when taking long sharp right turns the car seems to kick back and jerk ever so slightly until I straighten up again.

I presume this is because the after market tanks do not have the dome surround which the fuel pump sits into as you twist it tightly and lock it in its position. The dome surround which is on the original tanks allows the pump to be always soaked in petrol.

The after market tanks do not have this and the fuel flows easily to one end to the other of the tank easily. When running low on fuel and taking a long sharp right turn the fuel rushes to the left hand side of the tank, this then is essentially fuel starvation where the pump can no longer pick up and just pushes through everything it has through the fuel lines (At this point you will notice a kick back of when your car tuns out of fuel) up until you straighten up again for the fuel to reach the pump again.

If you drive and never allow your fuel to go below the first quarter you should be fine and not notice any problems.
