Whats up with the metal on drums?! Brand new Pagid brake drums fitted less than 2 weeks ago as mine were rusted to hell.. took the rear wheels off today and the new ones are already rusting!! How the hell do you keep these things looking fresh? :-x

They're bare cast iron, if they get wet they'll rust!

Only way to stop it is thoroughly clean them and paint them.

You would just expect them to of come up with a way of layering them with a treatment or something, so that they would last aesthetically for longer than 9 days.

Ahhh well guess a spray paint will do.

You could get them zinc plated.

If painting them, be sure to use a high temperature paint - they get very hot, and normal paint will burn off.
