How many Neon green?

when i got my car years back i remember finding out after a few weeks that only 25 were made in neon green and 25 in neon blue. Is this true as i have no proof of it, or was the guy chatting B******s, ?

also how many late cabs were made, the 91-93 ones.

I'm pretty sure that's bollocks.

I saw 4 different neon blue ones on eBay during 2 weeks in late November before I bought my cab......very unlikely that nearly a fifth of the cars made in that colour would be on eBay in the same space of time I'm thinking....

thats what i thought, but ive only seen a handful of neon green ones for sale

iv seen quite a few neon greens around recently and are al 318's.
the same goes with the neon blue and on the later cabs.

i thought 200 of each they are all the last of the e30 cabs or there full title
318 design motorsport edition just a way of offloading all the spare goodies in the big bmw warehose im pleased with mine maybe we should sticky how many design cabs are on the zone i even saw a 318 design touring in purple on german ebay

if i get my lap top this week ill post some (its getting fixed) when i bought it i just liked the colour. igot the build sheet from bmw it said design motorsport edition bloke said it didnt have central locking fitted i thought strange now works seems he did not have it working and never looked for it its got ..electric roof ...now working mtec 2 wheel and knob 15inch bbs some had part leather and i have the blue striped sport seats electric front and rear windows green glass now with intensive wash bmw fire extinguisher and obc and in daily use 11000 miles in the last year

It was the Lux that was last off the line and BMW offloaded the goodies onto them! It had leather, electric hood, front fogs and 15" bbs as standard!

i thought it was around the 500 mark total of both, but far more neon blue ones were built. nice colours either way!
