Mud Flaps with SE skirts?

Can this be done? Got a set of mudflaps off a basic facelift.. but I can't see them fitting because of the side skirts.. were there any made that were compatible?

Indeed, my Touring has them 

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

Yes facelifts with SE skirts do come with mud flaps which are shaped out for the skirt so they fit correctlY

They used to scrape the tarmac on the front when cornering hard round the nurburgring
They are hard to find as they cause more rust that they save on e30's in old age. plus some of the fitting clips are NLA also, proper 80's though aren't they?
