Oem speakers on a 89 tech 2 sport

Hi all what was the factory speaker set up for a tech 2 sport as it would of left the factory , whilst stripping mine down its got quite a bit of alpine Audio gear fitted looks to have been wired in nicely but I don't know if its oem fitment ? [/quote]

Wouldn't have had any speakers fitted at the factory. Audio equipment was an optional extra on an E30, and although there is a dash centre panel available with no provision for a radio at all, most would have been factory fitted with the radio type panel in the expectation that equipment would be dealer fitted.
BMW offered a few options for pre delivery fitting, but many purchasers would also have taken there new cars to an audio specialist for an installation of their choice.

Really ! That's a strange thing for BMW to do I looked up the orginal retail price of the tech 2 sport & they were £21,500 new you would of thought they would have come with audio for that sort of price ! I think once the car is done I may keep the orginal audio that was installed to keep it in period with the car , it's also all alpine audio equipment so the quality should be good
