possible e30 m3 diff

ive a friend of a friend who says he has got a lsd diff from an e30 m3 and do i want it but hes not the brightest tool in the box so dosn't know what its worth, anyone know what price this would be, is it any different from a normal e30 lsd and is there any way to check hes right

They're not really worth any more than a normal E30 LSD, around £300 is about right.
They're no different to any other LSD bar the ratio, an M3 is 3.25.
The tag on the diff should say 'S 3,25' on it
I imagine if he's not the sharpest tool then it will be nothing of the sort

I have my doubts to be honest but if it is an m3 one and they were worth a bit I reakon I could get it for about £200 that's all cheers

Looks like he's right it's tag reads S325 5032
