Does anyone else find that their E30 is really really sensitive to the toe alignment?

If I set mine as specified, it drives bloody beautifully. However, it only has to go out a tiny amount and the steering is woolly and the positive turn in just dissapears.

I've driven loads of over cars over my life and I don't think I'm come across one that is as sensitive to the toe alignment being right as these E30's.

Does anyone else suffer with this vague steering?

I find any car with half decent suspension is sensitive to front toe alignment. 2mm in suits me fine.

I've just replaced all the bushes/ball joints on my E36. I'm running 1mm toe in. That feels good to me.
