e30/36 Centre Console

has anyone fitted a e36 centre console for the armrest and cup holder capabilities?

i've seen it done in murica, but i think the the e36 UK the handbrake is on the wrong side so it would mean getting a US e36 centre console.

anyone have any insight into this?

Ive seen an E46 one done, there's a how to thread somewhere but i think its on another forum.

Go with the E46 armrest, not the E36 one. Open the wiki link above, go straight to the bottom and look for the r3vlimited.com link. If it's the link I remember, it will show you how to install the complete E46 centre console and armrest. That way you get the cup holders and the armrest is mounted properly to the console.
