Hi, just bought some lemforder drop links for my 318is but cannot find lemforder bushes any where in stock. Is there a another good quality company that any one recommends...... TRW any good etc etc?

Oem would most likely be febi.

But tbh, I've always just used powerflex poly ones which are easy to fit and seem to last forever.
cheers,

Use a longer bolt to get the clamps into place, clamp with mole grips, then change for the correct nut and bolt.

Yes, TRW bushes will be of equal quality to anything by Lemforder or Febi.

Brilliant, thanks all for the advice, I would use poly bushes if it was a track car, its only for the road.....plus I can get TRW for a very good price just didn't know if they where a poor quality part as there is some complete rubbish out there....

I just changed mine and went for TRW. Seem pretty good. I looked at poly bushes, but some says bit harsh. Depends what you are using it for. If just road then due to the rubbish ones out there I went for OEM from BMW. Not too expensive. Make sure you get the right diameter and take photos when you take them off so get them back in the right way. Fitting and clamping up with mole grips is the only way. Use a little fairy liquid to aid the bushes to slide in and settle..

Well...... My works next to a motor factor that is letting me down since their takeover, so no trw bushes now so ordered a pair from euro car parts, no image or manufacture name given on the site but did state febi where out of stock....... But a pair of febi bushes arrived in the post this morning, happy with that as febi is noted as a quality part and for little over a fiver!
I'm not tight just like deal bargain etc....
Thanks for the tips, have read and read them so its in my head for when I do tackle it.... Weather permitting in the al fresco workshop....
