Anybody getting peculiar insurance quotes?

My insurance went up this year.. and I'm looking to change so have been hunting around anyway.

I sort of knew figures that I had been quoted before but everything that I had been quoted, maybe, a year ago has went up by £500 BUT 'classics' have almost halved in price?

I'm not 25 yet so found the decrease in classics in comparison to the increase in modern ish cars strange.

Just wondering if I'm the only one.

I renewed my classic car policy with Adrian Flux the other day; they were initially asking a premium of £88 which included a £30 charge for "admin". I queried this and said I'd had quotes from other insurers ranging from £50-70 and they had a re-think and reduced the price to £68. :)

Got mine from AFlux for £134 all "mods" declared.

Insurance over the water is more expensive in general I thought, as with tax.

B*stards! :(

Insurance in NI is similar to Liverpool, apparently.

I thought our tax was the same?

So has the insurance on your daily cars gone up?

Just found it strange that Adrian flux had increased my insurance on modern things but halved insurance on classic cars? Same mileage, address, excess etc.
