Can an e30 rear diff be used on another rwd car?
I want to build a drift slag but don't fancy ruining an e30 to do it.
Are e30 diffs interchangeable with other car's?

I heard once that the E30 casings are the same size as those from a Porsche 944 but I've never checked.

944 uses a gearbox on the back axle.Topblag wrote:I heard once that the E30 casings are the same size as those from a Porsche 944 but I've never checked.
I believe people use the clutch plates in the diff to increase lock %.
As for being the same as an omega in fairly certain they're completely different.
