Today a terrible thing happened today, my left brake calliper has came loose, upon closer inspecting half of the bolt was missing. Is the any place to order specific bolts or does anybody have one spare that i can purchase off them?

You may have to wait a few days for some bits to walk over from Munich, but you will be suprised at what is available.
Bits that go NLA can often be re-manufactured,if there is sufficient demand.Parts such as front indicator lens, front brake backplates are just two such items.Snag here is the eye-watering price requested, but at least BMW are listening and make the bits available again.

I was going to say most bolts are just of the shelf bolts. But the calipers are one of a few I would go to the dealer to buy. Bmwfans or realoem will give you part numbers

Many of the fasteners on an E30 are specials - usually because they have a washer attached, but the caliper bracket bolts are 'off the shelf'.
They are hex. bolts, (front) M12 x 1.5 x 32 and rear M10 x 30, and importantly, are 10.9 grade.
I'm sure I've bought pads or discs where replacement bolts have been in the box.

IS the shank on them not slightly fatter that on normal bolts, or is it just because it's got a fairly short shank that it looks a bit more stubby?
I think I bought nearly all the nuts and bolts for the subframes from a nut and bolt place, they matched the size and spec to off the shelf bolts they have.
