Fairly sure a zoner was selling lightened m20 flywheels. Who was it? And was it on a return basis?
After prices before I go to the local engineering shop.
Cheers,
Ross

Ross, have a word with hongkongfuey, I'm sure he can sort you out, & iirc he does them on a exchange basis.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

I can do a lightened flywheel for you Ross.
Up to you, £60 if you send me one to do, or £100 for one out right, me to send to you.

Awesome Maggs, it was you I was thinking of, just couldn't remember your name.
What sort of turn around is there if I were to send to you?

Thinking of where you are Ross, I would have to check the postage, but it would be a cost only increase.

Yes, the centrifrugal force increases with RPMs not BHP, and stress is infact lessened in a lightened item, which is centered around the mounting holes in the middle.rich318i wrote:can the M20 flywheel handle a 500Bhp beast ?

Ignore Rich, he is trying (and failing) to take a pop at me. Flywheels fail due to RPM Rich, basic physics...
Awesome well I'm taking the box off when the weather gets a bit better so I'll send you a PM in 3 or 4 weeks. If you could find out about postage that would be perfect

Cool, I'll check the postage, I'm sure it will only be a few quid extra.ross_jsy wrote:Ignore Rich, he is trying (and failing) to take a pop at me. Flywheels fail due to RPM Rich, basic physics...
