door lock issues

I've re built my drivers door lock. For some reason it won't lock my door. It'll open it just not lock it.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
I've checked it's in the fork prooerly.

It's warped my head for the last couple of days.

Did you remove,clean and lubricate the latch mech at the same time?
