As above guys,some pics of my mates recaro's and m3 bench,
He's very happy with the retrim,I think they look great
Leather is nappa leather I believe,think he said that to me

my mate,preferred the vertical stich,I know there ment to be horizontal,each to there own :wink:

front seats look nice but the rear seat could do with a bit of fettling as its not sitting right in a few spots best to do it now before the leather beds in

He paid £1200,which also including repairing the bolster and changing the pattern on the front ,i think it is a good price tbh

nope,didn't get it done at mates rates,company in Leicester,called classic car retrim,will double check with him though,im sure that's the name :roll:

These came out of my touring and looked exactly like the ones you've posted up,
May be the pics making it look wierd,I looked at them today,and the bolsters are massive

The side mech covers, runners and handles are all E30 on the retrimed ones posted so i would say they are E30. Lower Bolster foams look very squashed though and early E30 recaro LS side bolsters were a different shape and very similar to E21 LS's.

There was a zoner with a retrimed set of LS's and he had one of each! Looked terrible.

They look like "sport" seats, not E30 "Recaros" to me.

That's must be it then rav,they may be a early set then,
Bss they are the original bolsters,and the better ones of the 2 pairs
We had,so these ones where used,I think they look great in the flesh,will upload some pics when there in the car

Yes, the smaller bolster shape.

I guess Recaro revised the design of the LS in '85.

Capri 2.8i ones are very similar to the E21/early E30 ones and Escort RS turbo ones (which also came out in '85) are very similar to later E30 ones.
