does anybody know what the yellow topped sensor is that looks like it goes into where the water pump is. thanks

This is going to be one of those nights!! I can guess it's an E30! An E30 what? The position of sensors does vary a bit with different engines.

325 m20 I got it sorted anyway, I thought it was yellow but it had faded.
