Hi guys
I have bought a full obc install kit for my 1991 325i sport. The guy who sold it to me said it came off a 1990 320i. I had a look at the number on the coding plug on the back (typ 44 1 385 939) (10 90 in small writing). Will this be ok for my car. If not, which number coding plug do I need.
Thanks
Which coding plug for obc

If it came from the car you say, it will be right for yours.

Though they all have different numbers, i think i'm correct in saying all 4 pot ones work in all 4 pot cars, and all 6 pot ones work in all 6 pot cars?

That's true for the coding plugs that are fitted to the speedo/rev counter/instruments.AndyZippy wrote:Though they all have different numbers, i think i'm correct in saying all 4 pot ones work in all 4 pot cars, and all 6 pot ones work in all 6 pot cars?
The OP is asking about the plug in the back of the 13 button OBC
