I finally got my cabby booked in for to rear arches. to be cut and welded so it looks fresh again. as mine are starting to bubble alot with this bad weather.

and also upgrading my brake lines to goodridge, and better quality pads & discs all round, brembo discs with ebc pads. or something along the lines. what do people recommend?

If you're gonna do the brakes, just make sure all the calipers are tip-top too!!!
I've used loads of discs & pads in the past and if you've got money to spend, I would recommend some OEM discs (or good quality 'oem' discs if you don't wanna spend at the stealers!) and Ferodo DS2500 pads. I used them with Castrol SRX brake fluid and they were superb!!! (SRX is prob a bit over the top for a road going cabby though - just make sure the fluid is good/recent!!!)

My winter jobs mainly include things like getting the heater blower working, fitting heated mirrors, maybe a heated windscreen and maybe changing my front seats!!!

I'm using EBC 'oem' discs at the mo with Yellow Stuff pads....
The discs felt like they warped, or were warped, a little at the start - just a little vibration when braking from motorway speed, but that seems to have gone away with use!?!?!
No complaints with the yellow stuff pads - not bad from cold like I thought they might be - just not sure if there's any benefit over the DS2500's yet??? May be different on track???
