Just been for a good play in mine, took it up over the Cat and Fiddle pass near Macclesfield and over Buxton, makes you feel ALIVE!

Did cross my mind though that if I got it wrong it would seriously f*ck Cristmas up. As the light faded it started getting really slippy too, had to catch the back end a few times. :clin:

To me, moments like that are why we buy these cars in the first place, a great car on an awesome road, not another car in sight, BLISS! :drive:

i've seen that road on the tv! looks a good one.

I think my prang was more to do with how i was driving with sh!te tyres and shagged suspension. All working together leading to a smash at some point

Tiff Needell was up there recently with the Porsche Cayman and even he nearly stuffed it at low speed when some plank pulled out on him.

It's officially the most dangerous road in Britain in terms of deaths etc. The Cat and Fiddle pub has a map of the area with all the spots marked where people (mostly bikers) have died. It's so notorious as a good blasting road that in summer the police have a spotter plane up on sunny Sundays.

BUT, if you treat it with respect, it's the best, most challenging, rewarding and enjoyable road I know, and for me it's only 10 miles away!

Anyone remotely near should give it a try :drive:
