These people have done it before https://www.facebook.com/slidemotorsport

As they can be modded to over 200bhp, I'd go for a medium case diff, from a 325 3.64:1, or touring 3.91:1.

I'm just finishing one off now. We're using a 3.91 diff that came off my old 316 auto. It's quite an easy swap, the only real issue was the servo and master cyl to exhaust manifold clearance. We've used a mk 1 golf servo and e30 master and will be making a heat shield. it's running a saab front mounted intercooler and i believe the rad is the original ca18 one. The prop is an e 30 rear half and centre joint with nissan front sect ( welded just after middle joint).
