Is it possible to swap the crown wheel and pinion from and open diff to a Limited slip diff.

Yes but you will have to get the mash and back lash set up again with shims

Whilst you're at it, it'd be a good idea to check the plates on the diff itself, maybe even changing the ramps out for something more aggressive for better lockup
